"William Miles" - 1103 tons. Captain: Brinsden. Passenger list below compiled from all sources 29/05/2001. Departed Gravesend 29 July 1862. Arrived Auckland 12 November 1862. Families are grouped with father first, then mother, then children in age order (where possible). 5 deaths and 3 births during voyage.

The acreage refers to land they obtained under the special settlement 40 acre scheme, this is an incomplete list. It can be of assistance to work out ages, adults received 40 acres, children 5-18 years received 20 acres.
